Employing a qualitative methodology, a case study design, and convenience sampling, 19 web news articles concerning Chilean student leaders and the quality of Chilean education were analyzed. Thematic coding, supplemented by procedures from grounded theory, was utilized as the analytical technique. The findings indicate that the news articles propagate a positive image of student leaders, portraying them with heroic attributes associated with the struggle for quality education. The discussion contextualizes the results in relation to existing literature while also addressing the study's implications.info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesseducation qualitystudent leadersbeliefsonline newsStudent Leaders and the Quality of Chilean Education: Qualitative Study of Web NewsArticulohttps://doi.org/10.15443/rl3547
