The objective of this study was to analyze the effect of a muscle strengthening program at 60% of 1RM on gait and dynamic balance tests in OAs. Eleven OAs participated in a muscle strengthening program. The program lasted 8 weeks, with 3 weekly 45-minute sessions of 3 sets of 6-8 repetitions and 2 minutes and 30 seconds of rest between sets. As a result of the training program, significant increases were observed in strength assessments, as well as in the 6-minute walk test and a significant decrease in the time taken to stand up and leave.http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_abf2https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0muscle strengthtraining programdynamic balanceolder adultsEfecto de un programa de entrenamiento de fuerza muscular en la prueba de marcha de 6 minutos y equilibrio dinámico en adultos mayores: Estudio pilotoArticulohttps://doi.org/10.24310/riccafd.15.2.2026.23043
