Findings reveal a unique double muscular structure in the tunica media—an inner longitudinal and outer circular layer—contrasting with conventional arteries. These structural adaptations may contribute to thermoregulation required for spermatogenesis, especially in response to rising global temperatures. The study emphasizes the need for further anatomical and physiological research into these vascular modifications.application/pdfarterias escrotalesmúsculo lisoespermatogénesishistología humanaregulación térmicaAnatomical and physiological adaptation of the scrotal artery with muscular reinforcement in the middle layer and connective reinforcement of the adventitiaArticulo de revistahttps://doi.org/10.1002/jemt.24440
