The method models the spatial brightness of both the AGN (as a point source) and the host galaxy (as a Sersic profile) in each spectral slice, requiring no prior PSF knowledge. Validated with mock observations and MaNGA data, the technique accurately recovers AGN and host spectra, emission line properties, and star formation diagnostics using BPT diagrams, improving analysis of AGN-host interactions.application/pdfAGNIntegral Field SpectroscopyData AnalysisGalaxy EvolutionDeblendingAn iterative method to deblend AGN-Host contributions for Integral Field spectroscopic observationsArticulo de revista10.1093/mnras/stae2623
