Abstract
Objective: Design, evaluate content validity and factorial structure of a scale to measure the level of Literacy in Sexual and Reproductive Health (AS-SR) in university students. Methods: The design was based on the Sorensen model, integrating its 3 areas (promotion, prevention and care) with 5 sub-dimensions of sexual and reproductive health proposed by the researcher. Content is validated through expert judgment, resulting in an instrument with 4 subscales. Piloting evaluates reliability and exploratory factor analysis (EPA). Results: Relevance and relevance categories presented greater consensus; clarity demanded greater modifications in items. A Content Validity Ratio of 0.85 is obtained in all items and a Content Validity Index of 0.84. AFE identifies 4 factors, with reliability coefficients over 0.93. Conclusions: The scale presents content validity and factorial structure concordant to the design of 4 subscales. Applications with a larger sample and construct validation through confirmatory factor analysis are required.
